Freakonomics – The Book

It is worth a perusal for anybody who likes numbers to quantify the reasons behind every phenomena. Levitt peels each layer  of information to get down to the primal detail to prove this theory. The book clearly portrays how economics defines the way world works and enlightens the reader with a few stark revelations that were unaccounted for and lay hidden in economic theories. If theories are based on individual perceptions, Steven Levitt extends the breadth and depth of those perceptions to logically quantify his reasons. His penchant to break down the barriers of conventional wisdom to perceive the world differently is simply commendable.
